  • Mix flour and baking soda until blended. Beat cream cheese, butter, sugar and vanilla in large bowl with mixer until blended. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Add nuts; mix well. Refrigerate 30 min.
  • Heat oven to 350°F. Shape dough into 1-inch balls; place, 2 inches apart, on baking sheets. Use thumb to press indentation in center of each.
  • Bake 10 min. Spoon about 1 tsp. preserves onto center of each cookie; bake 8 to 10 min. or until edges are lightly browned. Cool 2 min. on baking sheet; remove to wire racks. Cool completely.
